NOPAM Software for Norway

Web-based monitoring of performance and test stability for medical laboratories in Norway. The software uses a unique median-based approach where laboratories send daily measurement medians, enabling long-term deviation monitoring and comparison.
About the Project
This software adopts a fairly unique and complex approach to the external quality control of laboratories. Rather than submitting individual results, the Norwegian organisation commissioning the system requires laboratories to report the median of their daily measurements. This allows long-term deviations to be identified and enables meaningful comparisons between laboratories. The software is being developed for the Norwegian organisation Noklus, which delivers quality assurance services to more than 100 laboratories. By focusing on aggregated data over time, this median-based model provides more effective quality monitoring than reliance on isolated test results. Our end-to-end services include specification and design from the outset of the project, full-cycle software development in line with client requirements, third-line customer support, operational and supervisory tasks, the implementation of a scalable system architecture, and the ongoing maintenance and updating of system components.
